Is whaling right or wrong?
Whaling used to be all about tradiotion but now it usually revolves around money. The International Whaling Comission (IWC) believes whaling is wrong mostly because many species of whales are becoming extinct. The IWC decides which countries are banned from whaling and which countries are allowed to hunt a certain amount a year. They cannot ban whaling worldwide because a lot of people have a career or job in whaling. Even though whaling is cruel, people still believe in the tradition or culture and many people count on whaling for money.

Hunting whales seems to be taking a negative effect on the whales. The two sides, whether whaling is right or wrong, both provide good reasons in their cases. the IWC wnats to save the whales, but then this will cut jobs. So is whaling right or wrong in your opinion?
