Update!

There has not been any recent process on the issue of whaling. The IWC (Internation Whaling Commission) was ready and willing to make a compromise with some of Japan's whaling companies but nothing was agreed. Whales are still being hunted hundreds by the year. A Japanese ship just recently left port to the Antarctic for the new whaling season and now even more whales are endangered.This will not change until the companies all over the world and IWC can make an agreement.
